This is an all-ages spirited punk rock yoga class, led by Healium Hot Yoga's Sarah Filzen. Bring your own yoga mat for an all-levels yoga session with a punk rock soundtrack. This time the charity will be X-Ray, to help fundraise for our ADA compliant ramp and front entrance. 100% of all funds raised will help with the effort to make events at The Very Famous X-Ray Arcade accessible to everyone!

Slow Flow yoga is all about intentionally slowing down and focusing on the mind-body connection. During this class, you will focus on slowing down the pace of your breath in conjunction with slowing down the pace of your movements. Poses will be held longer, taking several rounds of breath in each pose, rather than moving one breath per movement. Slow Flow will challenge you to improve your strength, flexibility, balance, and mindfulness. Slow does not necessarily mean easy, so as always slow it down even more or take breaks when you need to. You can gain many wonderful benefits including; increased endurance, stamina, strength, and flexibility.  The heat aids in warming the body and increasing detoxification through sweat.  This class is open to all levels of practitioner.  We encourage anyone to try.  Keep in mind you might want to take it easy your first several classes as you get used to the heat.

Gently Heated Slow Flow

GENTLY HEATED SLOW FLOW


Slow Flow yoga is all about intentionally slowing down and focusing on the mind-body connection. During this class, you will focus on slowing down the pace of your breath in conjunction with slowing down the pace of your movements. Poses will be held longer, taking several rounds of breath in each pose, rather than moving one breath per movement. Slow Flow will challenge you to improve your strength, flexibility, balance, and mindfulness. Slow does not necessarily mean easy, so as always slow it down even more or take breaks when you need to. All levels are welcome. Slow Flow can be ideal for yogis just starting out or those that want to hone their practice and postures.
