Join Sarah Filzen, eRYT 500, for a day-long class at Healium Restorethat will explore the anatomy of balance and its application to asana. We will work with balancing asanas, with a focus on feet and ankles, the use of anatomical cueing as well as how to work with and instruct students who may be balanced-challenged. We will explore the use of props to assist and strengthen balance physiology, and practically apply this work with the demonstration of teaching balance asanas as part of the Practicum requirement for Yoga Alliance credit.
*Important: Credit can be applied towards the 300 hour teaching certification or Yoga Alliance Continuing Education credit, not both. To receive 300 hour credit, you must be formally enrolled in Healium’s 300 hour advanced training program prior to this class.
